This is a beautiful story, that’s why I wanted to tell it. It is the proof that books can heal the soul and that the people who care and are interested in others aren’t do-gooders, but builders of lives and of the future. Ours too.

Approdi is an NGO, born in Bolognain 2017, from the encounter of psychologists, psychotherapists, psychiatrists, doctors, anthropologists, educators, cultural mediators and social workers who have chosen to donate their time and to offer their skills to help those who have just arrived in our country

Approdi consists of many people who share a path of volunteeringand donating time to support those who have no help, those who arrive in a new country and have to rebuild their lives and often their whole history. Collaboratingwith us means not only helping others, but also gaining professional experiences through an important team work, as well as training and improving by participating in periods of observation, coaching and supervision.
